about
Three years ago, I began a transition from print to web design and development. Like many others, I attempted to learn code on my own and looked for web projects at work to tackle--actually garnered a few of those. It pays to be respected at the office. Still, I didn't learn as much as I wanted. So I built-up my war chest, left my full-time mostly print-focused job for freelance work and a Web Design and Development degree at The Art Institute of Washington. Brave? Crazy? How about No, I was just determined to learn how to create media that was interactive, that did something like facilitate learning, doing, and even fun.
Today, with a new skill set that includes CSS/HTML, Javascript (JQuery), Flash, and some AS3, I’m employing and continuing to build my coding abilities. Check out some of my projects.
